ViaTrip µ is a low cost Friction Measuring System, measuring the degree of friction of the pavement surface, in all winter conditions.
Retardation Measurement ViaTrip µ
The driver follows a procedure using the car brakes to initialise the logging of the friction data. The retardation of the vehicle is then measured, and friction values are calculated and logged.
