The Freedom of Information Act – ViaTech AS
The Transparency Act (Act on Corporate Transparency and Efforts to Promote Fundamental Human Rights and Decent Working Conditions) aims to promote companies’ respect for fundamental human rights and decent working conditions, as well as to ensure that the public has access to information about how businesses address actual and potential negative impacts related to these issues.
As of today, ViaTech AS is not subject to the Transparency Act, based on the threshold values in the Accounting Act related to the size of the business.
Nevertheless, the company works actively to safeguard fundamental human rights and decent working conditions within its own operations, as well as in collaboration with suppliers and business partners. This involves, among other things, a focus on responsible supplier monitoring, compliance with applicable regulations, and continuous assessment of relevant risk factors in the business.
ViaTech AS strives to further develop its procedures in accordance with recognized principles of corporate social responsibility.
