Description
ViaPhoto
ViaPhoto can come in many forms. ViaPhoto can be a part of a measurement system from ViaTech (ViaFriction, ViaPPS, Via3DMapper etc). ViaPhoto can also be a standalone system with just a GPS, PC and the camera. The photo system takes excellent digital images even when the vehicle is in motion. Information about the vehicle position and the time and date can be inserted in the top left corner of the image. The position information contains both the GPS position and the position along the road. When ViaPhoto is a part of ViaFriction, sensor values from the friction meter can be added to the image as well. This includes parameters such as the friction value, air temperature, air humidity and road temperature. When ViaPhoto is a part of ViaPPS or Via3DMapper, the pictures can be used to add colour to the point cloud data.
