Throughout the spring and summer 2025, we at ViaTech AS have put in solid work, and we are proud to be able to deliver the first final version of ViaPPS 2.0 – integrated with top-quality Riegl scanners – to Origon.

With this delivery, Origon is now equipped to deliver mobile mapping services of the highest quality and level of detail, both along roads and tracks – for design, documentation and condition analyses.

In choosing the system, it has been important that Origon can deliver services efficiently today, while at the same time collecting data for development and future innovation.

ViaPPS 2.0 represents an important technological step forward. The solution is the first of its kind, where we combine systems that meet today’s national requirements for measuring pavement condition, with top-shelf laser and camera sensors.

At Origon, the commitment is great. Kim Willem van Woensel Kooy and Gunhild Maehlum are very satisfied, and together with the rest of the team they are already well underway in utilizing data from the system for new products and services.

With Origon’s mobile mapping system, they can now offer:

•As-built documentation

•Measurement and image documentation of pavement condition, tracks and evenness on roads and airports

•Digital inspection and documentation with 360-degree images, laser scanning and condition analyses
